In light of the current health issues and concerns resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, in conjunction with conference partners in Springfield, have made the difficult decision to cancel all in-person activities related to the 2020 Missouri FBLA-PBL State Leadership Conference.

In lieu of an in-person event this year, Missouri FBLA-PBL will offer competitive events and leadership activities in a virtual format, allowing students to compete digitally from their homes.

Missouri FBLA-PBL is seeking individuals to volunteer to serve as judges of the virtual events. Over the next two weeks, student members will submit answers to questions or film their speeches and demonstrations. Beginning at 5:30 p.m. April 23, the system will open for scoring and remain open through April 30. All judging is based on submissions, meaning judges won’t interact or score live; instead, judges may work at their convenience during this timeframe.

If you are available to assist as an event judge, please see the Judge Registration Form. For more information about what judges will score, Missouri FBLA-PBL has prepared an Event Details document that outlines what students are required to submit for any given event.

The event is scheduled to return to Springfield April 11-13, 2021, at the University Plaza Hotel.
