We start with audience-favorite Sorcerer’s Apprentice and an exquisite new work for oboe played by former Hellam Competition winner and current principal oboe of the Cincinnati Symphony, Dwight Parry. Then we’ll blow the roof off the hall with the thrilling Pictures at an Exhibition, complete with the original artwork that inspired this masterwork. Swing for the Symphony 10/09/2023

Concert Performance: Noon

Join us for Swing for the Symphony on Monday, October 9th at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club presented by Bryan and Amber Musgrave. Since 1934, the Symphony has been working to provide the highest level of symphonic music and music education to all of Southwest Missouri. Proceeds from Swing for the Symphony will sustain the Springfield Symphony's operations, fund artistic programming, and provide free and educational performances exclusively from the SSO.

Spooky Symphony 10/26/2023

The Springfield Symphony invites you to our 15th annual FREE Halloween concert! You and your kids will shriek with delight as you listen to spooky sounds and Halloween favorites! Halloween costumes are welcome!  Admission is free and seating is limited.
