Group Events, Conventions Keeping City Busy

Convention sales efforts are ongoing at the CVB and the sales department recently booked the Enactus Fall Leadership Conference (October 2013), Airflow of America (June 2014) and American Society of Engineering Education (September 2015).

Sales staff also will represent Springfield in October at the Rejuvenate Marketplace and the U.S. Olympic SportsLink & Assembly. In November, staff will represent the city at the TEAMS Conference & Show and in December at the U.S. Sports Congress Conference & Show.

In August, convention services were provided to five groups totalling more than 1,400 delegates and 1,493 room nights.
