During National Travel & Tourism Week, the Convention & Visitors Bureau announced it is developing a marketing campaign targeting the cities to which Springfield-Branson National Airport has non-stop flights.

The campaign, in partnership with Springfield-Branson National Airport, will include public relations activities, social media posts and limited advertising.

The CVB, working with its agency MMGY Global, is bringing in a group of five top-tier bloggers from the target cities June 2-5 to showcase the city and its amenities. The campaign also will include pitching stories to traditional media in the target cities and social media activity.

The goal is to increase awareness in those cities of Springfield as a travel destination and encourage air travel to the city.
