Any good fisherman will tell you that the secret to enjoying fishing is the story told after. Mountain Springs Trout Park specializes in creating the the story, the memory, the fishing tale.

For over 60 years anglers and families have been reeling in rainbow trout with a twist. Crossing the dock, David Emerson or Tom Breedlove are sure to greet guests and introduce them to the park as well as its unique concept: Fish, catch, celebrate with the family and leave the cleaning and packaging to the guys and their families.

The trout pond itself is stream fed and rich with the highest quality rainbow trout, which means a guaranteed catch! Quality is not limited to the fish. With David and Tom on staff, there is a personal touch to each cast. The two exceed expectations by sharing their knowledge and own fishing stories with guests.

The first time fisher is their specialty. The two best friends learned under the instruction of the original owners and through meticulous and thoughtful management have maintained a tradition over 60 years old.

Through the preservation of this tradition, David and Tom have allowed families, friends and romance to make countless memories. Open from 9am to dusk, the park hosts pot-lucks, picnics, live music, first dates, weddings and much more.

A mere twenty minutes outside Springfield nestled in a quaint hollow beside a pond fed by Tory Creek, the Mountain Springs Trout Park is structured for people to fish clean sourced rainbow trout. All that's left to do is get there. For more information check out the parks full website.
