The Missouri State Ice Hockey Program is central to this growth, a dedicated team that proudly represents Springfield, Missouri, on the ice.
The Missouri State Ice Hockey Program began in 2001 as a Division III team, moving into Division II after only a couple of years. They created a second, Junior Varsity Division III team in 2004. With a history of seven appearances at the National Tournaments, the Missouri State Bears have made their mark in the ACHA.

The Missouri State Ice Hockey Program calls the Jordan Valley Ice Park home. This facility boasts not one but two sheets of ice, providing ample space for practices and games. The park also features a conference room and a video center that aids in-game analysis and strategy. With a seating capacity of 1,100 in the arena, it's the perfect venue for fans to unite and support their team.

One of the season's highlights is the Route 66 Invitational, a showcase tournament that brings together teams from various regions. From November 10-12, this event promises high-level competition and an electric atmosphere.
