Job Title: Creative Content Coordinator

Position Overview:
Visit Springfield is seeking a highly creative, visually driven, and collaborative Creative Content Coordinator to support the organization’s storytelling, tourism promotion, and brand engagement efforts through compelling visual content and creative production.
This role is responsible for developing high-quality graphic design, photography, video, and digital creative assets that support marketing campaigns, social media, website initiatives, visitor engagement, and organizational promotions. The Creative Media Specialist works closely with the Marketing Content Manager to bring Visit Springfield’s brand and storytelling initiatives to life across multiple platforms and audience touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design and Creative Production
- Design and produce creative assets for digital, print, social media, website, email marketing, advertising campaigns, events, and promotional materials
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual communications and marketing initiatives
- Develop graphics and creative collateral that support tourism campaigns, visitor engagement, and organizational initiatives
- Prepare production-ready files for print vendors, advertising partners, and digital distribution
- Support creative needs across the organization with promotional materials, creative requests, and marketing-related needs as assigned
Photography, Video & Visual Storytelling
- Capture photography and video content for marketing campaigns, events, attractions, and community initiatives
- Assist with creating and editing short-form video and social media content
- Support visual storytelling initiatives that highlight Springfield’s tourism experiences, attractions, events, and community identity
- Organize and maintain digital photo, video, and creative asset libraries
Social Media & Digital Content Support
- Collaborate with the Marketing Content Manager on social media campaigns and content creation
- Create visual assets and graphics for social media platforms and digital campaigns
- Assist with content gathering and creative execution for digital storytelling initiatives
- Support campaign launches and promotional efforts through engaging visual content
Innovation & Creative Trends
- Research and explore emerging creative tools, design trends, and content formats
- Support the department’s continued evolution in digital storytelling and content creation
- Stay informed on emerging creative trends, digital content styles, and evolving social media formats
- Collaborate with other Visit Springfield departments to support marketing-related projects, communications, and promotional efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field preferred
- At least 1-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, marketing coordination, website management, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design, visual storytelling, and digital content capabilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative design tools
- Experience with photography, videography, and short-form video editing preferred
- Understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and visual content trends
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Visit Springfield is seeking a forward-thinking, organized, and digitally savvy Marketing Growth Manager to help drive the future of destination marketing for Springfield, Missouri. This role is responsible for supporting the execution and optimization of Visit Springfield’s marketing efforts while helping streamline internal workflows, campaign coordination, and marketing systems.
The Marketing Growth Manager will oversee website management, SEO initiatives, paid media coordination, CRM and email marketing systems, and digital performance tracking while also identifying innovative tools and emerging technologies, including AI-driven marketing solutions, to improve organizational efficiency and marketing effectiveness. This role works closely with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications to help ensure marketing initiatives are organized, optimized, and executed effectively across the department. Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing & Website Management
- Oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of Visit Springfield’s websites and digital platforms. Coordinate website updates, enhancements, and vendor communication
- Monitor website performance and provide monthly reports
- Support SEO strategy and optimization efforts to improve digital visibility and search rankings
Paid Media & Digital Campaign Coordination
- Coordinate digital advertising campaigns with agency and media partners
- Ensure paid media campaigns launch accurately and on schedule
- Monitor campaign pacing and vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with approved budgets and campaign goals
- Campaign reporting and performance analysis
CRM, Email Marketing & Analytics
- Assist with CRM and email marketing platform management
- Monitor digital analytics, campaign performance, and website metrics
- Develop reports and dashboards to track marketing performance and engagement
Marketing Technology & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and campaign performance through automation and marketing technology solutions
- Research and implement emerging trends in AI, digital marketing, SEO, automation, and audience engagement to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
- Support internal education and adoption of AI tools across the organization
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications to evaluate innovative marketing approaches and future-focused digital initiatives
Workflow & Marketing Coordination
- Manage incoming marketing requests and coordinate project intake processes
- Assist with maintaining campaign timelines, deliverables, and project management
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution
- Supervise the Marketing Project Coordinator role
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred or a related field.
- At least 2-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, marketing coordination, website management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO, website management, digital marketing, and analytics
- Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and digital advertising coordination
- Knowledge in emerging marketing technologies and AI tools
- Proficiency in digital marketing and interest in emerging marketing technologies and AI tools
- Exceptional project management abilities, comfortable navigating a fast-paced, creative work environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience working with external vendors and agency partners preferred

Visit Springfield is seeking an energetic and service-driven Visitor Experience Manager to lead operations for the Springfield Route 66 Welcome Center and the Springfield-Branson National Airport Information Center. In this role, you’ll manage and enhance visitor experience programs throughout the city, including two new welcome centers, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome while discovering all our city has to offer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations of the Springfield Route 66 Welcome Center and the Springfield-Branson National Airport Information Center.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming visitors, answering inquiries, and promoting Springfield’s attractions, events, dining, entertainment, and amenities.
- Create engaging and inviting visitor experiences that reflect the hospitality and energy of Springfield.
- Supervise, schedule, train, and support paid and volunteer visitor experience associates while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Manage Visit Springfield’s volunteer program, including recruitment, communication, scheduling, training, and volunteer hour tracking.
- Collaborate with staff and community partners to coordinate programs, events, and volunteer engagement that support tourism initiatives.
- Oversee retail and souvenir operations, including inventory management, merchandising, online orders, reporting, and point-of-sale systems.
- Ensure visitor centers remain clean, organized, visually appealing, and welcoming to all guests.
- Manage inventory and distribution of visitor guides, brochures, and promotional materials across all distribution locations.
- Record and analyze visitor data, traffic counts, and reporting metrics to support organizational goals and visitor insights.
- Process visitor inquiries and orders received through phone, voicemail, email, and CRM systems in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate the preparation and mailing of visitor packets, publications, and promotional materials.
- Assist with CRM data management, duplicate tracking, and visitor information updates.
- Support additional administrative and operational initiatives that advance Visit Springfield’s mission and visitor engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, retail management, visitor services, customer experience, or related fields preferred.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest experiences.
- Passion for Springfield, tourism, hospitality, and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Experience managing teams, volunteers, or customer-facing staff.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Retail operations, merchandising, and inventory management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, CRM platforms, and Google Workplace is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving abilities.
