The Springfield Art Museum All School Exhibition
Every March-April, the Springfield Art Museum invites student artists from across the community, kindergarten through 12th grade, to exhibit outstanding artwork in the All School Exhibition. A celebration of Youth Art Month, this highly anticipated show has been a staple of the Art Museum’s exhibition schedule since 1932, making it the longest-running exhibition initiative.

2024 Coffee Fest on Tour
Coffee Fest is a month-long fundraiser benefiting the local-based nonprofit Safe & Sober. Participating coffee shops offer samples of their signature coffee, and some stores in the past have even offered discounts on bulk coffee, apparel, and other goods! With 18 locations, there is plenty to try, all while supporting a great cause.

Jurassic Quest
See lifesize dinosaurs, play with baby dinos, excavate fossils and more at the Jurassic Quest experience. Jurassic Quest is the world’s largest dino event built for the whole family.

2024 Ozarks Coca-Cola Dr Pepper Cup
The 2024 Ozarks Coca-Cola Dr. Pepper Cup is a recreational and competitive soccer tournament at Lake Country Soccer. The tournament accepts boys’ and girls’ teams, with over 100 teams scheduled to play in 2024.

Gillioz Jazz Festival
Enjoy a weekend of Jazz at the Gillioz Jazz Festival. For three days, hear various jazz artists, finishing with headliner Branford Marsalis & MOJO. Tours of the theater will also be given.

Cherry Blossom Kite & Piñata Festival
The annual Cherry Blossom Kite & Piñata Festival is a fun outdoor celebration of Japanese and Mexican culture. Bring your own kite to fly, or make one of your own while also joining in on whacking nearby Piñatas. Be sure to stop by and shop at the mini-market, along with the nearby historic Gray-Campbell Farmstead.

Springfield Symphony Orchestra #Unfinished Business
The Springfield Symphony Orchestra’s Unfinished Business is a concert unlike anything you’ve ever heard! It features not one but two bass trombone solos by Metropolitan Opera Orchestra trombonist David Baker. Springfield’s Youth Symphony will also be joining for a song as well!

Spring Historical Picnic

David Archuleta
At just 16 years old, David Archuleta became a star.
