The Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau’s spring 2022 campaign, Ask a Local, has launched and will be running in drive markets throughout the country. Created last year, the Ask a Local campaign features locals from the area inviting visitors to come to Springfield and when they’re here, to ask around for a local’s input on the best places to eat, drink and play. 

This spring, the campaign will feature a multi-media advertising approach including the following tactics:

  • Digital 
  • Social
  • Streaming Audio
  • Streaming Video
  • Influencer Marketing
  • Billboards
  • Print 

The key markets that the advertising campaign will be running in are:

  • Missouri statewide but heavy emphasis in Kansas City and St. Louis
  • Tulsa, OK
  • Oklahoma City, OK
  • Wichita, KS
  • Northwest AR
  • Little Rock, AR
  • Dallas, TX
  • Denver, CO

“We are so proud of the Ask a Local campaign and are happy to continue it with our 2022 spring campaign initiatives,” said Megan Buchbinder, Marketing Director for the Springfield CVB. “The message is conveyed in a fun, approachable way that really showcases the area and our locals. We’re hopeful it will continue to bring visitors to the Springfield area.”
