The City of Springfield is collecting public input through Aug. 18 about the current Springfield flag and whether the city should consider adopting a new flag. Those interested in sharing their feedback can participate in an online or paper survey available at Springfield-Greene County Library District branches, Coffee Ethic, Mudhouse and Hotel Vandivort.

Participants will have the opportunity to submit their own flag design in addition to providing feedback about the current Springfield flag and a proposed new flag. Results from the survey will be provided to City Council.
