Coffee lovers have more ways to enjoy the Ozarks this season as the Ozarks Coffee Trail launches its sixth season on October 1, featuring 41 participating coffee shops and new ways to earn points.

The Ozarks Coffee Trail is a free, mobile-friendly pass that invites coffee lovers to hit the trail and discover coffee shops throughout the Ozarks. When visiting a participating coffee shop and making a purchase, users can check in through the pass to earn points. Last season, more than 4,500 people participated in the Coffee Trail, generating thousands of check-ins and bringing new customers through the doors of local businesses. For the first time, participants will now be able to check in at the same coffee shop once every two weeks and earn another 10 points. The new repeat check-in feature gives coffee lovers more opportunities to support local businesses while encouraging repeat visits and continued business for participating shops.

Season six features three reward levels: Coffee Trail stickers, a T-shirt and a limited-edition crewneck sweatshirt. Only the first 200 participants to reach 500 points will receive a crewneck.

New this year, select holiday weekends will also feature double points, giving participants and visitors an opportunity to earn double points per eligible check-in. Holiday weekends will include Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Year’s, Valentine’s Day, finals week and the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival in August.

“We’re excited for everyone to experience another season of the Ozarks Coffee Trail and discover the incredible coffee culture we have throughout the region,” said Andrea Copeland, Vice President of Marketing for Visit Springfield. “Season six gives coffee lovers even more opportunities to explore local coffee shops, with more chances to earn rewards and revisit their favorite places along the way. It’s a fun way to support locally owned businesses that make our coffee community so special.”
